Start the New Year by writing an article
If you have a few minutes to spare over the holidays, why not write an article on Designing Buildings. Sharing what you know helps everyone improve.
You can write about your specialist subject. Or maybe there's a common mistake you come across a lot, or something you find yourself explaining over and over. Why not write it down and post it on Designing Buildings so everyone can find it? Articles don't have to be long essays, sometimes just a paragraph is enough.
It's really simple to do:
- First log in or register (registering only takes 2 mins).
- Then click the orange 'Create an article' button.
- Type in the title of the article you want to create.
- If an article with that name doesn't already exist, you'll be asked if you want to create it. Click on the link and your new article will open.
And that's it - start writing. It really is that easy. When you're done, click 'Save' and your article will be live.
If you get stuck with anything, we have a detailed Help page, with answers to lots of frequently asked questions, or you can email us at [email protected] - we are here to help.
We also have a test article you can play with if you want to try things out - just click 'Edit this article' and have a go.
Happy writing.
